Happy spring!
I’m optimistic that it is right around the corner. With spring comes career days at the area high schools. I am looking for a couple volunteers for the following career talks. Forest Hills Northern (2/21) or FH Central (2/26). This works well if two people can attend. I have a Powerpoint presentation you can use. Along with that I have found the students love the workplace incident stories..... and it seems that the gorier the better! If you are interested in sharing your passion for the safety field with these kids let me know as soon as possible. Plan on attending the February 21st meeting. Originally, we were going to have a joint meeting with the WMIHA. Instead we will be learning from Dave Huizen, CIH just what industrial hygiene is all about, what we can do as safety professionals to make the inside environment better, how to investigate an employee’s

Michigan Safety Conference
The 78th Annual Michigan Safety Conference will be held on April 15th & 16th at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing, Michigan. 200 Exhibitors and 120 Safety & Health Programs highlight the 2 day event. Registration opens at 7am, the exhibit hall opens at 8am and the classes begin at 9am daily.
